From Fire to Inspire Programs
From Fire to Inspire is an movement-based program that combines brain-based teaching principles, social and emotional skill practice, and circus arts to help learners of all ages understand the neuroscience of learning and realize their power in the process. I offer professional development for educators, guest teaching, camps, after school programs, adult education, and programs for active older adults. School ProgramsFrom Fire to Inspire in schools is designed to help learners develop a healthy way to think about and reflect on learning. It can be delivered as professional development with staff only, students only, or children and adults learning side by side.
Each experience connects learners to:
Programs for AdultsFrom Fire to Inspire with adult learners focuses on fun, exercise, learning, and connection. The best exercise for the body is exercise. And the best exercise for the brain is exercise! Through the learning of physical skills, participants are connected to the physical and mental benefits of life-long moving and learning.
What are people saying?

Before/After School & CampsFrom Fire to Inspire is a great addition to your before/after school program or summer camp that helps children connect with others while learning individual, partner, and group circus arts and rope jumping skills. I can deliver the program directly to children or work with program leaders, participants, or a combination of both to create a before or after school physical activity program designed to meet the needs of multi-age participants. Before you know it, it will be run by the participants with everyone learning and practicing physical, social, and emotional skills!
"Liz is, without question, the best teacher I ever supervised during my 40+ years in public education. As her principal, I was privileged to be able to observe her effectiveness both in the classroom and with the extra-curricular activities she created and led. Liz is in a class by herself! She made it her mission to understand how children learn, how their brains work, and what is needed in order for them to thrive. Watching her in action in the classroom or during a jump rope practice was a mesmerizing experience! Students were attentive and excited and fully engaged in the learning process – ALL the students, ALL the time. No exceptions. The labels of autism, LD, ESL, MR, BD, and all the rest had no place in her world. She knew instinctively, and from her extensive research, what children need in order to learn and grow and blossom – no matter their starting point. If I could have one wish for the state of public education in our country, it would be that every classroom, not just physical education classrooms, could have a Liz Giles-Brown leading it!"
